All SonderMind therapists are licensed mental health clinicians. Although specific licensure requirements vary across states and types of license, they all require a Master’s or Doctorate level degree, completed clinical and supervision hours, as well as successfully passing an exam prior to being able to be clinically licensed. The “right” therapeutic relationship is the most important factor of success. Although we go through a careful matching process involving several criteria to align a client to a therapist, we recognize there is no perfect way to predict “chemistry”. If your patient is not happy, we offer them a simple process to request a rematch at no cost.
Within HIPAA guidelines we are able to share the status of a patient’s care but not any clinical information. We are happy to let you know if your patient has completed their profile, successfully matched with a therapist, and scheduled their initial appointment.
In most of our current markets we have a psychiatric prescribing provider who will be able to support medication management needs. We are continuously expanding both our therapist and prescribing network to better support our additional communities.
We have developed a seamless client process to make it as easy and comfortable to initiate support. After completing the initial new client inquiry via the dedicated partner page, your patient will get an email from SonderMind Support. This email will tell your patient everything they need to complete their client portal. Within this secure, HIPAA complaint portal, your patient will provide basic contact information as well as insurance and credit card information so they do not need to worry about insurance co-pays or self payment when they see their therapist. During this process, a minimum of two matched therapists will reach out to your patient by phone to make an introduction. Your client has the option to then schedule a first session. It is that simple!
