What insurance networks are accepted?

Our therapists are currently in-network with Aetna, Anthem (Blue Cross Blue Shield), Apostrophe Health, Bright, Cigna, Kaiser, and United Health Care. They are also in-network with Cigna EAP and United EAP. Unfortunately, our therapists are not currently in-network with Medicare, Medicaid, or Tricare. How do we match clients with therapists?

We match clients with therapists based on speciality, availability, location, treatment approaches, insurance, and more. Our network of licensed mental healthcare professionals cover a wide variety of mental health issues and practice areas.

What is the appointment cancellation policy?

SonderMind has a 24 hour cancellation policy. To cancel an appointment, clients will reach out to you and reschedule. If clients cancel within 24 hours they will be charged a cancellation fee, up to the full session cost.

What rates does it pay?

Rates for in-person sessions and online sessions are identical. Rates are determined by license level and services provided. SonderMind's proprietary software solution is included for free and provides access to a lightweight practice management/electronic health record system, mobile app with voice notes functionality, claims submission portal, and calendar tool for client scheduling (all in one platform).

How many clients am I required to see?

There is no requirement. You decide which clients you take and which ones you don’t. There are no quotas or minimum volume requirements. We refer clients to you but you ultimately decide if you want to take them on an individual basis — you are not obligated to take the clients we refer you.

Is it HIPAA compliant and secure?

Our HIPAA-compliant, encrypted software keeps your personal data secure. We follow the highest national standards for security and privacy for all clients and therapists. Your SonderMind Video Telehealth sessions are NEVER recorded. Your personal data, medical information, and private communications are all hosted on HIPAA-compliant, SSL-encrypted servers.
